Shakey start
Hasn’t quite been the start to the month that I had planned with one of our dogs being put down, a family member in hospital then my son in a car accident (thankfully he is ok). It’s been a tough week but as I sit and reflect I can’t help but think this challenging time I’m going through mentally is temporary whereas those that put their lives on the line for our country live with mental challenges everyday for the rest of their lives which is why it’s important to raise awareness and funds so they can access these much needed support services. Tomorrow marks the start of week 2, here’s to a better week. I’m aiming to cover another 20km by 15th March ✌️Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.
So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
Together, let's help our heroes march on.
Thanks so much for your support.
