Day 1 - 6.71km done! Sun rising, kangaroos, beautiful breeze

Nothing better than getting up early and waking up with the world. The suns rising a little later here in WA, dark until near on 6am now, a beautiful time to be up and witness the serenity.

This morning my most special moment was passing an elderly gentleman who was wandering down the road with his walker, tipped his hat (such a gentleman) bid me good morning and commented on the beautiful breeze blowing. Every chance that man is a veteran and if I see him again a roadside chat may be on the cards. 192km goal set this time, a return trip.

Support My Challenge to Save Lives.

This March, I am conquering 96km to support Soldier On's life-saving mental health services to help our brave veterans and their families.

Why 96km? Because I'm taking on the length of the Kokoda Track to honour the courage and sacrifice of our veterans, both past and present.
