I clicked over the 96km today. A little slower than I'd anticipated due to an old injury stopping me from walking for a week. I'm going to see how many kms I can cover in the month. BZ to everyone supporting our veterans.

Almost there

Started strong then hit a hurdle, (1½ week hiatus) dusted off, back up to finish strong.

Day 6

Thanks to all the legends who have donated and supported this worthwhile cause. I've completed 42 of the 96km so far. I;ll see how I go and perhaps do the 192km if I keep up this effort.

Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

Right now in Australia, veterans aged between 24 - 44 are 2.7 times more at risk of suicide than other members of our community.

So, this March, I am conquering 96km to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.

I am participating in this worthy cause to raise awareness of the plight of service personnel, many labelled as "broken or a reputational risk to defence", discharged, and left to fend for themselves. Better care of Veterans should be a Government priority and responsibility, a condition of service, and not left to external agencies to pick up the pieces. BZ Soldier On, March On!
