Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
For each of the previous four years, I have participated in the March On with Soldier On Challenge, helping to raise crucial funds for veteran suicide. Right now, in Australia, suicide is the leading cause of death at 42% among ex-serving men aged 30 years and younger, with ex-serving men and women 112% and 107%, respectively, more likely to die by suicide than other men and women in Australia. Many of us have been affected by our friends, partners, colleagues, husbands, wives, or parents being affected by mental health, and in some cases, suicide. For these reasons and many more, I am once again taking on the challenge. This year, I will be completing 288km (the equivalent of three Kokoda trails) of running, riding, walking, and rowing to help the veterans who so deservedly need it.
