2025 March On Challenge

First 10km

Broke out the OG desert boots from my 2007 OIF deployment. Felt good to pull the laces tight and hit the trail. Topper was my tricolour boonie hat! A late afternoon hike. A great time to take in the scenery, and to remember old friends.

Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

Right now in Australia, veterans aged between 24 - 44 are 2.7 times more at risk of suicide than other members of our community.

So, this March, I am conquering 96km to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.

Together, let's help our heroes march on.

Thanks so much for your support.

So far, I have helped provide:

113

peer support
sessions

68

employment
support

6

psychology
sessions

...to support the mental health of our brave veterans to help them march on.

thanks Randall - my friend who was in the navy has ptsd, it is terrible that young people who are serving their country can have such adverse long term mental health outcomes, society needs to get much better at supporting them.

Best wishes on completing the 96km❤️ unfortunately there are times when you have to be at your most strongest ( battling ptsd triggers) when you are at your most weakest ( trying to ask for help and getting the right help )
