Rest day today, allowing a niggly blister to subside, back on the beat tomorrow, almost half way,finding it a lot easier than when I trekked the Kokoda in 96.

Days three &four

Day three, 7 km, Day four 5 km,taking it easier for a couple of day,almost half distance,spoke to Shedding the blues group today about veteran suicide and mental issues,all very supportive and most generous with donations,thank you so much

Day 2 +

Decided to trek another 5km this afternoon,feeling good.

Day 2

walking was a little easier today, must have loosened the muscles up, 24 km completed now, today I walked for all my mates I served with throughout my twenty year career.

Day one

steady pace over the distance, felt good, no aches and pain.

set off nice and early and back home by 7am.For mates I’ve lost to suicide

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
