Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

I am participating in the March on Soldier for Charity to raise money for veteran suicide awareness in honor of my late father, a Vietnam veteran. My dad served as a forward scout in the 5th Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment, during his tour in Vietnam in 1969, when he was just in his early-20s. Throughout his life, he carried the invisible scars of his service, battling PTSD every day. Over the years he suffered greatly with mental health a tragic reality that countless veterans face. This cause is deeply personal to me, as I want to ensure that no other veteran suffers in silence or feels as though they have nowhere to turn. Raising funds for this charity is a way to honor my dad's legacy and help provide the necessary support and resources for veterans battling mental health issues. It is a small step toward making sure they know they are not alone in their struggles.

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.
