Set no limits
Remember you have the strength and mindset to overcome barriers and obstacles in your path. Set boundaries to see hidden obstacles and perceive problems as challenges. Challenges may build character and create a dialogue or positioning of mental fortitude on a day-to-day level. Nurture the sol.Grit and mindset
Mental grit is something that is honed with mindset and training. There is a fist nations American Indian saying...' It takes a wise person to see and admit when they are wrong.'Self paced and disciplined training
Knowing your personal limits and recovery time is a good foundation. My rest days have a strengthening component. This has a coming back for more leeway. Breathwork develops the core power. Training is what you make it. Training with others or under expert guidance boosts confidence.Get fit and healthy- be alive
In the age of mindfulness it only takes a moment to plan ahead and nurture your sol.Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.
So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
Together, let's help our heroes march on.
Thanks to our heroes for everything you do on a day to day basis and for all the hardships you endure so we have the freedom we know.
I hope you for you that you see the difference in a true compassion for humanity. In a kind word or a smile, in strength of the spirit, and you know it's all worth it every- step of the way. Where there is courage there is love.
