Day 3: stronger every step

DAY 3 OF MARCH ✔️🔥 11.68km DONE and I am feeling SO proud of myself right now. Today I explored the creek, ran along the bay and basin, and took the scenic dirt tracks (my absolute favourite part). Trail kilometres just hit differently 🥹 And the surprise of the day? So many black swans out on the water. It was one of those peaceful moments that makes you stop and take it all in. But this 100km March isn’t just about fitness. I’m doing this to help prevent suicide and support the mental health of our veterans. Every kilometre is for those who have served our country and deserve real support when they come home. Momentum is building. Legs are working. Heart is full. 100km in March — for our veterans. 💪🇦🇺 If you’d like follow my journey or support my 100km March On challenge to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives, I would love to have you! Together, we will show our brave heroes and their families that they are not forgotten. https://www.marchonchallenge.org.au/fundraisers/teaganmacrae/virtual26?utm_source=mobileapp #100kmMarch #VeteranMentalHealth #PreventSuicide #MarchChallenge #RunForACause #MarchOn #soldieron

Progress, one kilometre at a time! 🏃‍♀️

Lacing up and showing up — that’s been the goal, and it’s paying off. 🙌 I’ve been making great progress with my daily run/walk, hitting three kilometres every day and pushing myself to go further whenever I can. What started as a commitment is quickly becoming something I genuinely look forward to. The next challenge is already on the horizon. In March, I’m planning to take this routine off the treadmill and onto the bush tracks in our national parks. Cooler mornings, uneven trails, and a whole lot more scenery — I can’t wait to see how my body and mind respond to the change. It feels good to build consistency, test limits, and set new goals along the way. Here’s to steady progress, fresh air, and wherever the next kilometre leads. 🌿🏃‍♂️

Training with a purpose!

With just 23 days to go until I march for veterans’ mental health, the training has well and truly stepped up. 🚶‍♂️ I’ve been putting in the work to build my stamina and prepare both physically and mentally for the big month ahead. Every step I take is a reminder of why this matters — raising awareness and supporting the mental health of the veterans who have given so much in service to others. It’s more than a march; it’s a chance to stand in solidarity and help shine a light on an issue that deserves ongoing attention. I’m incredibly grateful for the generous donations and the constant words of encouragement I’ve received so far. The support means more than I can put into words, not just to me, but to the veterans we’re marching for. Together, we’re proving that small steps can lead to meaningful change. Thank you for being part of this journey. 💙
