Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
G'day!
I’m taking part in the March On challenge to support Soldier On and the vital work they do for veterans and their families.
I served in the Australian Army, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Like many veterans, the impact of that service didn’t fully surface until years later.
Just over twelve months ago, after my service had caught up with me, I found myself admitted to the Keith Payne VC Mental Health Unit. Today, I’m still here, still standing, and walking this challenge to give back and raise awareness for those who may be struggling in silence.
This March, I’m committing to walk/run 192km, symbolising the length of the Kokoda Track and return journey, to honour those who served and to support Soldier On’s mental health programs aimed at preventing veteran suicide.
Any donation, big or small, will help ensure veterans and their families know they are not alone.
