Early morning swims are soooo good. I forgot how good they were. Day 4 of our journey and still a bit of a struggle but that's down to the poor choices i made and the bad food options and eating patterns i make. Still though, we keep it going for our brothers and sisters to keep the black dog away. #Lesssgooo

First walk out in a long time

As we get older and neglect to care about the big things in life such as health and fitness, for some reason, the mind STILL thinks (& believes) it can easily do at 48 years old what we were able to do at 18 - 35 years old. A bit of a struggle today (thank the good Lord for Patella Bands) but my 6ft, 2" 167kg self managed to knockout 9.5kms in under 3 hours. it may not sound like much, but as we say in Gruntlife 1RNZIR, "ONWARD". Watch this space...
