Got to the end of March with over 250kms done really appreciate everyone’s kind donations and support hopefully it makes a difference only needs to help one person and it’s worth while

Day 30

Almost there got in another 10.5 kms tonight gets me to 243 kms for the month so got to be happy with that all going well will get in another 7 k tomorrow to get to 250 well past my target of 192kms

Day 27

221 kms racked up now had a short sharp walk today dodging the rain not sure about tomorrow might be a swim instead of a walk few days left in the month will see if can get to 235

Day 25

Another 9k down so 211 kms for month now few more days to go not sure how Munich will be done over next few days meant to be shit weather but will get out if I can to finish off the month strongly

Day 23

Reached the 192 k target this morning happy that I have been able to get there and will smack out a few more kms in days left in March

Almost there got 6 kms to get to target

Got in over 10k before work was bloody hot at 6:00 in the morning got to love the hot March nights😂

Day 18

Back on track after few bumpy days last week spoke to Kayne on Sunday for 1st time in about a month as he is on deployment at the moment so limited contact was just what I needed

Start of week 3

Got 10.8 kms today takes tally to 128kms hoping to push through the remaining to get to my target 192kms

Friday 13th day 13

Tough day at office struggled mentally but got through another 8.2 kms so that’s 113kms down now hopefully tomorrow a better day

Day 11

Reached half way today good milestone but plenty still left to do funny I’m looking forward to daily walk and eats at me if don’t go early in the morning so many people have donated money to my walk I don’t want to slack off really thankful to my best friends at the moment pair of black and white Under Armour shoes helping me punch out the kms

So grateful to everyone who has donated so far to my walk I put $836 as my goal as was not sure how much I could raise but to be sitting on $6,815 so far blows my mind If my minor sacrifice can help just 1 of these brave men and women it’s well worth while

Week 2 commences

Good start to week 2 - 10.6 kms Sunday morning gets me to 66kms covered

Pushed out another 8 k today thanks to my mix of head banging music gets me through each walk

Got in a morning walk today got to plan around AFL on TV now😂 if I keep doing this everyday I may get fit

Got back from Darwin last night not sure if was plane flight of left over of the high 80 low 90% humidity we left behind but that one hurt no excuses still got over 6 k keep pushing on

Bad time to come to darwin

In Darwin for extra long weekend not sure what is worse rain or humidity got in a good walk this morning in the rain stopped and paid respects at Anzac memorial along the way

Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
