2026 March On Challenge

Sickness and thoughts while walking.

Our walks have gotten less and more on flat pathways as the 2 dogs get over a gut bug. Back home they have settled onto arm chair and dog bed, eyes closed, mum (me) here to look after them. As I was walking I was thinking about how the native men of New Guinea and fellow soldiers helped each other through mud, rain, heat, insects etc. How important that support and care is for survival. Just like water and food, people to help by lending a hand is vital.

A quiet message of March on

A friend quietly slipped $50.00 into my hand while at Church on Sunday. And said " keep on Marching on".
Someone near by said " oh its only for the money".
Jan - exNavy said " its saved Terrys life many times. Terry is ex Army like my late husband George. Vietnam era Vets.
Like me. Like my currently serving son in law.
Our family history goes back to wars fought from 1815, great grandfather 5 times removed.
All wars Australians have fought in. Direct line family and cousins. Some came home. Some are buried overseas. Some with nothing left to bury.
We march to honour and remember.

Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.

Together, let's help our heroes march on.

Thanks so much for your support.

So far, I have helped provide:
