Rain didn’t stop me kicking off my 96km March On campaign. I intend to walk a lot more though…

Freedom has never been an accident.

It has always been defended — by ordinary Australians who put on a uniform and accepted extraordinary responsibility. The safety we enjoy, the choices we get to make, the lives we build… they’ve been protected by men and women willing to serve. And for too many veterans, the battle doesn’t end when they come home. This month I’m walking 96km to raise funds to help prevent veteran suicide and support those who’ve carried the weight of service long after the uniform came off. Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.
