Kokoda walk for Veterans
I served 9 years in the Australian Army. My uncle Clem Kwaterski was with the 25th Battalion, C Company, 15th Platoon, 8th Section on the Kokoda Track during WW2 He was often placed in the position of forward scout which did not have a high survival rate. He was captured but escaped and survived the war. A special man of few words but hidden depth. I am walking in his memory and to support all veterans who struggle with their demons.Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.
So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
