What a Start!!!

Well off to a great start, not getting to 19kms already, but smashing my initial target of $500 buckaroos THANKS to all of your KIND and very GENEROUS donations. Setting the bar to low it would seem, I've upped the target to try and raise more pat cash that will provide even greater awareness and support for those that currently are, or have, served our magnificent country.

Now not one to get a newspaper, I had to grab a couple of editions over the weekend for one of my neighbors, only to see a very disheartening headline further exposing the plight some of our veterans are facing.

So, if you are able to find a few coins down the back of the couch, grab a fiver, a tenner, a lobster or even a pineapple, or anything in between it will go a long way to helping those in need.

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
