I’ve decided to march all the way back to the start

I’m heading back to the start of the march in honour of my great uncle Claude who served in Gallipoli and Europe in WWI.

Half way

I’m half way along now. haven’t been able to do much over the past few day but looking to step things up this week.

Day 3

was a busy day at work, but managed to get a few more kilometres ticked off. I’m raising the bar to 150km now. would really welcome more donations to help our returned diggers

Day 2

managed to click over 10km today. a good walk though a bit warm

The march begins

My cavoodle Pepper and I went for a good walk and run along the local creak to start things off. we knocked off just over 7 kms.

My grandad

This is one of the men I’m marching in honour of. Martin Reginald Bahr, my grandad who faught on the Kakoda Track. unfortunately her died when I was 5 due to health conditions from fighting for our country. though I only knew him for a short while I fortunately can still remember him.

I’ve started

got under way today. Pepper and I went for a walk / run along the creek and got the journey started.

Right now in Australia, veterans aged between 24 - 44 are 2.7 times more at risk of suicide than other members of our community.

So, this March, I am conquering 96km to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
