2026 March On Challenge

Working hard to make it count

Trying to ensure that I do at least 20000 steps a day. This is for two reasons. One is to meet my commitment here. second is to ensure that I follow my doctor’s instructions and get as much cardio as possible in the first months after surgery. I’m doing all (or most) indoors on a treadmill which I do at intervals over the course of the day. I’d love to be able to do it outdoors but I need a supervisor for all exercise so that I don’t have any issues. Trust that this is OK with all of you working as well. Stay safe! Best wishes!

Walking on a treadmill

Folks We do most of our exercise on our Treadmill and Static Cycle. It would be great if we could have any app that records and recognises this.

Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives

Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.

So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.

Together, let's help our heroes march on.

Thanks so much for your support.

So far, I have helped provide:

Reading that suicide accounts for 42% of deaths in young ex-serving males is a sobering reminder of why this matters. That statistic is a call to action for all of us. You aren't walking this one alone, Rob—we’re proud to stand with you for our veterans and their families
