Day 1

Well I'm off on my 192km March On for Soldier On challenge. I cant say that it is not a daunting task at this point but I managed 8km on day one, and thats a start, admittedly a small one but I'm now only 27km away from Minari. 

Menari, is the centre of a prosperous native community cultivating fertile gardens on the hilly slopes, that lay at the junction of two creeks; their banks fifteen metres high and  the site of the 39th Battalion after it had withdrawn along the track.

Support My Challenge to Save Lives.

This March, I am conquering 192km to support Soldier On's life-saving mental health services to help our brave veterans and their families.

Why 192km? Because I'm taking on the length of the Kokoda Track to honour the courage and sacrifice of our veterans, both past and present.

Please support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and help save lives.
