Support my walk to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
Have you ever thought about what even a small act of support could mean to someone who is quietly struggling?
Right now in Australia, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving men under 30.
42%.
That number stayed with me.
Mental health has always been close to my heart… and when I saw this, something in me said, this is the moment to move.
So this March, I am taking on a Kokoda-length walk alongside my friend Eugene, a veteran, to support Soldier On’s mental health programs.
This is more than a walk.
This is presence.
This is standing beside those who once stood for all of us.
And here is where you come in…
If you have ever wanted to make a difference…
If you have ever felt the quiet knowing that every life matters…
This is one of those moments.
Thank you in advance for supporting us in any way you feel called to.
No amount is too small. Truly. Small contributions, together, become something powerful.
Your support says to a veteran and their family:
You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.
Together, we stand.
Together, we shift something real.
Let us help our heroes march on.
With warm appreciation,
Cindy
