Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
This year, I am taking on the March Charge, a month long fitness challenge with a deeper purpose.
Right now in Australia, far too many veterans are fighting battles long after their service ends. Mental health struggles and suicide continue to affect those who once stood to protect us. Too many feel that they must fight these battles alone.
This March, I am running to support veterans’ mental health awareness and the vital services that help prevent veteran suicide and provide support.
This challenge is also quite personal. After my own health challenges last year with ongoing heart problems and a sudden collapsed lung, I was reminded how fragile life can be, and how important it is to fight, not just for ourselves, but for others who need strength and support.
If you can, please consider supporting me and my journey. Every step is for those who served, those still fighting and those we have lost.
