Heart of Darkness
Back in Cambodia for the preparation and the Challenge in March. I am living in the same location in Phnom Penh but gave expanded my training circuit walking in a nearby housing estate. Although it is a gated community the gyards dont seem to mind me. They might think I live there. The folk inside from the residents to the street sweepers are also friendly. There are many walkers and a few runners doing the rounds every day as awareness of healthy activity increases in Cambodia. It is sad that there are so few parks and public spaces to encourage exercise. The gyms and running machines are mostly for the elites.Support my challenge to prevent veteran suicide and save lives
Right now in Australia, at 42%, suicide is the leading cause of death for ex-serving males aged under 30 years old.
So, this March, I am walking to support Soldier On's mental health services and programs to help prevent veteran suicide and save lives.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my challenge so that we can show veterans and their families that they are not alone... we stand strong with them.
Together, let's help our heroes march on.
Thanks so much for your support.

Team Russell. Iean Wallace Russell and Seda Russell.
Not forgotten Uncle Ted. Though your memory is so far distant, you are close by each time we pass by your lonely windswept grave at Wallangarra. My country through birth and death. Do you mind if I sit here down by your graveside, And rest for a while 'neath the warm summer sun, I've been walking all day and I'm nearly done.
