Why I’m Marching 96km to Support Veteran Mental Health
Hey, I’m Liam John Castro Sankey. I’m 19, and I run SafeSpace Minds, a mental health space I started because I wanted people to have somewhere they could feel supported and understood. I didn’t create the March On Challenge, but I joined it because I genuinely want to back our veterans and their families in any way I can. I’m marching 96km to show support for the people who’ve served our country and now deserve strong mental health support. I might not have a personal connection to the military, but I care about people and I believe support shouldn’t only come from those directly affected. Sometimes it just takes someone willing to step up. SafeSpace Minds is all about giving people a place to feel safe, heard, and valued. Taking part in this challenge is another way for me to put that into action and help raise awareness and support for veteran mental health. If you want to get behind this too, share the page, spread the message, or even join the challenge. Every bit of support counts.
